Principal’s October Message

The Healthy Hints include important health-related information as well as details on two voluntary programs that encourage students to walk to school and/or increase their step count.

Principal’s Back To School Message

2018-2019 School Year Important Dates
  1.  You can find Mr. Klimko’s Brookside Briefs for September by clicking September 2018 Brookside Briefs.
  2. Class placements can be found through PowerSchool.  This is a new procedure designed to streamline beginning of year paperwork and data collection.
  3. Student Orientations are planned for Tuesday, September 4th at 2:00 PM for all incoming first grade students (including those who attended Kindergarten at BPS during 2015-2016) and at 3:00 PM for all NEW students to BPS entering grades 2-5.
  4. The first day of school is Thursday, September 6th and is a full day as are the remaining days of the first week.
  5. The BPS PTA will host a Welcome Back Coffee for parents/guardians after the bell on the first day of school (9/6).  PTA Board Members will be located between the K/1st      grade doors, the 3rd/4th/5th doors, and by the 2nd grade doors (3 locations total).  The BPS PTA website is also a great resource for Back to School information. Visit: bpspta.digitalpto.com
  6. Back to School Night is on Wednesday, September 26th starting at or close to 6:30 PM.

Summer is almost here but there are many activities planned over these last few weeks of school so take some time to read the final school year newsletter.  BriefsJune2018
