Screenagers- sponsored by all school PTA’s; attendance was low at parents screening; middle schoolers saw it as well in school
Staffing- Mrs Petrow & Mrs Sztancsik moving to grade 2
Their old positions in grade 3 & 4 will be full year maternity leave replacements (from Mrs Kroll and Mrs Dowling)

Superintendent search going on in the district. BOE sent school attorney to take notes on what parents want in a superintendent. Info sent to BOE
Birch wood is a hot topic and how that will impact our schools.
Directory/VP
Those who join PTA membership will have access to the directory 178 members as of 10/21 $910 in additional donations from parents on top of membership fee $10…$4 goes to national PTA, $6 goes to the PTA
Each child gets $20 for field trips
Teacher mini grants deadline 12/1. Have only received 4 grants. $300 per teacher
Looking to add a paper copy of the directory on top of online directory
Spirit wear sale ends Sunday 10/23
Reflections in art-occurring this year. PTA national art contest. Info sheet was sent home this week.
Square one art– drawing sheet came home this week, due 10/26
Fallfest 10/29 2-6pm New games this year made by parents Still Looking for volunteers and chili makers for chili cook off Trick or trunk– 15 trunks so far 10/28 6:30-8
3rd grade mailbox -up and running. Send in your mail!
Holiday boutique– 12/13-12/14 Will look for more volunteers after Halloween to help shop.
Other Parents complained about condition of 2nd grade door and acorns near door. Mr Klimko said he will try and address acorns
Lunch time issues- sending lunch server into hallway to monitor hallway and bathrooms
HIB- harassment intimidation and bullying was brought up. Mr Klimko explained HIB-new legislation in 2011 bullying 1 and bulling 2 All bullying 2 goes to BOE
