Spirit Wear

The BPS Spirit Wear Sale is here! 

The sale will take place through November 26. The sale must end on November 26 to ensure holiday delivery.

You can order online at BPS Spirit Wear Sale 2019

All merchandise should arrive approximately 2-3 weeks after the sale ends. Please see the attached flyer to view the items.

The items ordered online will be distributed directly to the classrooms. If you do not want your order delivered to the classrooms because it is a gift for the holidays, please contact Nicole Griffin at [email protected] and she will personally arrange to get it to your home without your family member knowing.

Holiday Boutique

The Holiday Boutique will be held on Thursday, December 5th and Friday, December 6th. 

All students will have an opportunity to shop for the holidays. More information about shopping will be coming soon.

BPS Post Office

Everyone loves to get a card, right? Students, parents, teachers and friends: It’s your chance to send mail to *anyone* at BPS via the school-wide postal service operated by Brookside’s third graders! That’s right… you can send a letter or card to your child and have it delivered by the 3rd Grade Post Office. Perhaps send your child a Holiday card or even have a sibling send something to their own brother or sister.  A student can even send something to his or her teacher from last year! And your child can send letters and cards to their BPS friends, too!

Mail is sorted and delivered every Tuesday.  Mail is sorted and delivered every Tuesday at recess. Please place your cards, letters, and postcards in the blue mailbox located in the vestibule before 11:30 on Tuesdays to ensure delivery.


This is a school-wide postal service operated by Brookside’s third grade!

Students, parents, teachers and friends: send mail to anyone from BPS, via the Third Grade Post Office.

What can you send?? Any Letter, card, greeting card or postcard.

Where do you mail it?? Put it in the mailbox in the front vestibule or give to your teacher before Tuesday lunch.

When will it be delivered?? Every Tuesday at recess.

Each person from Brookside will have his/her own address.

STEM Night

BPS Family STEM Night will be held on Tuesday, November 12th, from 7:00-9:00pm. There will be 2 sessions – one hour presentation by Science Tellers and one hour family STEM Challenge in the classrooms. The sessions are divided based on your child’s last name. For the first hour (7:00-8:00pm), last names beginning with A-L will be in the classrooms, while last names beginning with M-Z will be in the auditorium. For the second hour (8:00-9:00pm), last names beginning with A-L will be in the auditorium, while last names beginning with M-Z will be in the classrooms.

Join the PTA for 2019-2020

Please Join the Brookside Place School PTA for 2019 – 2020!

The BPS PTA is a non-profit organization made up of teachers, staff, and parents. The PTA subsidizes class trips, assemblies, teacher grants, school events such as the Olympics, Fall Festival, holiday boutique, and so much more! The BPS PTA would not be possible without your continued support and generosity.

The cost to join the BPS PTA is $10.00 per member.

You can find out how to join the PTA by clicking How To Join The BPS PTA.  Fill out the attached form, Membership Registration 2019-2020 and return to school with a check made out to BPS PTA.  You can also visit to sign up and pay online by credit card.

Box Tops

Our first Box Tops and Shoprite for My School collection drive ends Wednesday, October 30thWe have a long way to go to reach our goal of 4,000 box tops for a SCHOOL WIDE pajama party!

Just follow these steps to link your Shoprite card and download the Box Tops app:

  1. If you shop at Shoprite, link your Shoprite card to get credit for your child’s homeroom by visiting select Brookside Place School. Have your Shoprite card handy because you will need the Price Plus Number.
  2. Download the Box Tops for Education app wherever you download your apps. Visit more information.
  3. Take a screenshot of the open Box Top app.
  4. Email the screenshot to [email protected]to get credit for your child’s homeroom. Please include your child’s name and homeroom and the email address you used to register the app and/or link your Shoprite card.
  5. In the subject line please specify if you downloaded app and/or linked your Shoprite card.
  6. If you have paper Box Tops please send them in loose in envelopes or bags. Be sure to write your child’s name and class on it so their class can get credit.

The homeroom with the most Box Tops app downloads and linked Shoprite cards will get to toilet paper their teacher in front of the WHOLE SCHOOL!!
