Art Night March 15th… “Eye” want to tell my story….
William Shakespeare once said “ The eyes are the windows to the soul” so what if an eye could tell a story about who you are or what is inside of you?
Your child will be developing this understanding in class while creating a two-dimensional eye on paper with the opportunity for your family to work together to express yourselves through their “eye”. Feel free to draw, paint, glue, sculpt, etc. with materials that you have collected from home in order to design your child’s eye in the vision you have shared with one another.
Materials that will be provided are: glue, glue sticks, hot glue guns (with your supervision/approval), scissors, markers, and crayons. Anything else you wish to use can be brought from home. There are endless possibilities to your final product… be creative, have fun, and remember, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”.
