Screen-free week is a national movement that encourages children and families to pledge to turn off TVs, tablets and video games and turn on other fun activities.
To encourage participation, local businesses are offering coupons and special sessions including Hyatt Hill Mini Golf, Hands of Life Martial Arts, Alleum Yoga and Garwood Lanes for afterschool fun & Vanilla Bean Creamery, Rustic Mill Diner, Edible Arrangements and Tony’s Café are also offering coupons to participating BPS Families during the week.
See FLYER SCREEN FREE WEEK 052015 for more details. We will be setting up a sign-up table outside the cafeteria during lunch on Thursday, May 14th!
We also need volunteers 5 parents to help with BINGO on Monday, May 18th and 3 parents to help with Tuesday’s event at Hands of Life. Please contact Peggy Carlton ([email protected]) or Meghan Smith ([email protected]) to volunteer and sign up your child to participate.
